RSA Sculpture Project
Pupils & staff were awarded the RSA Inspiration Art Department Award in 2018/19. The prize money was used to create an outdoor stained glass & concrete art installation working with prestigious glass artist Emma Butler Cole Aitkin, contributing further to the creative whole school ethos of Braes High School.
Creative Learning Space
The drive for creativity is inherent at Braes High School.
The Creative Learning Space was designed by pupils and staff to foster a creative and innovative environment for whole school use.
Access Art 2 Halves Drawing Project
Having secured funding from FAB, Braes pupils and staff were able to share their creative drawing skills participating in Access Arts 2 Halves Drawing Project.
Sketchbook Circle
We love our sketchbooks at Braes High!
Pupils & staff collaborate to create a range of personal art work within their sketchbook pages, cumulating in the annual Sketchbook Circle Exhibition.
Access Art Share a Bird
Pupils successfully applied to Access Art Share a Bird project and were gifted Becky the stained glass bird by glass artist Emma Butler Cole Aiken.
Using this as stimulus pupils created Braes High stained glass bird Becky led by Emma ButlerCole Aiken.
