Braes High School ensures our school is a safe, supportive, and inclusive place for LGBTQ+ learners and staff. We are working towards being reaccredited with an LGBT Bronze Charter Award this year.

The LGBT Charter makes a clear statement that equality and diversity are at the heart of our school. Braes High School have committed to staff training, sharing information, inclusive lesson content, pupil workshops and celebration days.

To champion our journey, our school has an LGBT Charter group made up of learners and staff who meet to discuss and plan actions to progress towards achieving the Bronze Charter Award. Ms Jones (Pastoral Head) supports this group.
