Developing the Young Workforce (DYW)
Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) is a vital part of Scotland’s careers and skills system. DYW is employer-led, and it’s our priority to make it easier for employers to connect with young people in schools and colleges across Scotland.
Making it easy for young people to connect with employers to help them understand and develop the skills they need for the world of work.
No matter where young people live they can meet employers and experience the real world of work both in the classroom and outside it.
Some examples include: Skills sessions, career events, work placements, mock interviews and workplace visits.
