Self-Evaluation Group and Pupil Leaders of Learning Group

A major driver for continued development of Learning and Teaching lies in the self-evaluation processes within the school. With that in mind we have two working groups within the school that concentrate on our self-evaluation procedures to ensure that we have that positive impact and change within our learning and teaching. The staff working group:

• engage staff and depts. within the school in more robust and consistent self-evaluation processes. Ensuring that all stakeholders act upon findings to improve and develop achievement
• embed self-evaluation practices into the learning pupils receive in class enabling pupils and their parents to identify areas for further development
• develop departmental self-evaluation programmes (calendars) for the academic year which staff can use as a template for individual self-evaluation needs
• further develop understanding and skills in using Insight to further analyse statistical evidence to move learning forward.
